PERFORMING A TEST ASSEMBLY USING 3D SCANNING

The key point of the product of the steel structure is the trial assembly of shipping elements, which is used to verify the geometric of the work performed. In the case of large objects, when it is not possible to assemble the entire structure, at least two adjacent sections are connected with each other. The traditional way of performing a trial assembly, which has been briefly described above, causes that we encounter a large number of technical difficulties, which thanks to the 3D scanning method are eliminated.

TEST ASSEMBLY PROCESS IN 3D SCANNING TECHNOLOGY

The individual scans of the measured assembly sections are submitted in a computer program, the end result of which is a report specifying the places where the performance deviations are exceeded (i.e. require correction) with an indication of their values.
