Schumann House, Gdansk – 3D scanning and drone survey

For the architectural inventory of the historic Schumann House located in the heart of Gdansk, 3D laser scanning was carried out using a precision Faro Focus Premium scanner. At the same time, a photogrammetric raid was carried out using a drone, which made it possible to capture the smallest details of the façade and architectural elements that are difficult to access.

The result of the fieldwork was a dense and precise point cloud, which became the basis for detailed 2D CAD documentation. By combining the scanner data and the drone flight, it was possible to fully map the state of the existing building – both geometrically and visually.

The resulting documentation is a valuable source of information for conservationists, architects and building managers, enabling them to accurately plan further conservation and design work. The digital inventory also facilitates the archiving and analysis of the building in its historical and technical context.
